About me

About me

A history and Francophone Literature graduate, I moved on to FLE (French as a foreign language) via International Cultural Relations. I have been working at Stirling University since 2006 where I teach all levels from complete beginners to our students doing the MRes in Translation Studies. As Study Abroad Co-ordinator, I am involved with all our partners from France to Canada, Switzerland to Morocco, as well as with the British Council, providing candidates to language assistanship posts in France. As Language Co-ordinator, I look after the delivery and development of language provision including a language-teaching team. It is also part of my job to coordinate all language teaching and to take responsibility for the oral/aural tuition in all years. Here at Stirling we have a strong commitment to the development of e-learning/blended learning and we create most of the on-line material we use to support our students and our teaching.
