About:
I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Iceland, and an MA and a PhD in Philosophy from University College London.

After completing my PhD I was a teaching assistant and guest lecturer at Stirling for two academic years. I then held a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellowship at the University of Cambridge from September 2010 until January 2013. I took up a position in Stirling as Lecturer in February 2013.

Research Interests:
My research interests lie mainly in Metaphysics and the Philosophy of Mind. I am particularly interested in mental causation, material objects, and various issues to do with the nature and persistence of persons. I am currently exploring how we ought to construe the relationship between fetuses and maternal organisms and what moral significance different metaphysical accounts of this might have.
